I am a song writer as well and when I write a song, my thought process revolves around connection. I’m always thinking about how I can connect with people of all ages whether it’s the youth, the elderly, or middle-aged listeners.

Music is a universal language, and I want my lyrics to speak to everyone. I think about how my words can inspire or motivate, how they can help someone through a tough time or encourage them to keep going. I also consider how I can be a role model through my music what kind of example am I setting with my message?

Every song I write is an opportunity to make an impact, and I want to be someone people look up to not just for my music, but for the way I carry myself, my values, and the messages I share. Ultimately, I aim to write songs that resonate deeply, whether you’re young, old, or somewhere in between.”

Tell us about your latest single ” Truth” what inspired the song ?

“My latest single, ‘Truth’ (Truth -$ELF MØV), was inspired by Skepta’s recent release with Flo Milli, ‘Why Lie?‘. Hearing that track really hit me it made me reflect on the importance of being honest, especially in today’s generation of dating and relationships.

There’s so much facade, so many lies, and it’s easy to get lost in the games. I wanted to create a song that not only speaks to my personal feelings on the subject but also encourages people to be real with themselves and others. In a world where truth can sometimes feel scarce, I believe it’s more important than ever to be authentic, and this track is a reminder of that.”

What I want my audience to take away from my music is realness. I want people to relate to music that isn’t fake, but is truly from the heart. My music isn’t just about beats and rhymes it’s about making a difference in people’s lives and motivating them to keep pushing forward.

I want to be a role model for people, someone they can look up to and find inspiration in. My ultimate goal is to cement my name in the history books as one of the greatest entertainers—not just in music, but in the film industry as well.

Most importantly, I want to use my platform to spread the word of God and connect with people on a deeper level, becauseI believe it’s important to show people that no one is alone and that it’s okay to talk about what’s on your mind, whether it’s struggles, fears, or triumphs.

Music and entertainment have the power to heal, and that’s something I hope to do with every project I work on.”

What are the biggest misconceptions about the genre you are in?

One of the biggest misconceptions is that it’s just about fame, money, or violence. While those themes are often highlighted, hip-hop is also about storytelling, expression, and community. It’s about sharing personal struggles, triumphs, and deep-rooted beliefs.

Another misconception is that it’s not easy to get noticed, especially with so many talented artists out there. The truth is, it’s really hard to stand out, but my belief is deep with God, and I know everything is possible with Him. My faith drives me to keep going, no matter how tough the journey gets.

The genre you’re in is one that is very competitive, how do you handle critics?

“The genre I’m in is definitely competitive, and handling critics is part of the journey. For me, without God, nothing is possible. My relationship with Him keeps me grounded and focused on mastering my craft. When I receive comments or criticism, I try to see it as an opportunity for growth.

I believe in myself and trust the process, knowing that every piece of feedback, whether positive or negative, can help me improve. I also remind myself that you’re always a student, no matter how long you’ve been doing your craft. So, I take every comment in stride and use it to push myself further. Criticism doesn’t shake me; it motivates me to keep striving for excellence and to stay true to my purpose.”
