Vhulenda Mundalamo founder of Savant Skin was born and bred in Venda, Limpopo Province, and currently resides in Johannesburg. “I’ve always loved skincare and the science behind it” said Vhulenda.
In high school I wasn’t aware of the careers within the skincare field, so I went on to study a BComLaw degree, a totally different route but I’ll say that my degree has helped me thrive in different spaces. I understand business, contracts, the importance of being of service and giving people a pleasant experience.
I also hold a Digital Content and Copywriting qualification, a short course I completed to help me better manage my brand and stand out when it comes to comprehensive marketing strategies. As a newly qualified Skin Therapist, I come with unique skills, my clients are in safe hands.
The inspiration behind opening a facial bar came from my deep passion for skincare and my desire to make effective, personalized skincare accessible to more people. Throughout my journey, I saw how skincare can transform not only the appearance but also the confidence and well-being of individuals. As I delved deeper into the science of skin health, I realized there was a gap in the market for a space where people could come for quick, targeted treatments without compromising on quality or care.
Beyond providing treatments, I also have a genuine love for educating others about skincare. I believe that when people understand their skin and how to care for it, they feel more empowered. Savant Skin is my way of combining my love for skincare science with my passion for teaching, offering a luxurious yet convenient experience where clients can both enjoy professional treatments and leave with valuable knowledge to maintain their skin’s health.

Facials Improve circulation: The massage elements of a facial boost blood circulation, which can enhance the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to skin cells, giving your skin a natural glow. While, Anti-Aging Facials :Can help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging by stimulating collagen production and increasing skin elasticity.

How do you ensure clients, do not have any allergies after the facial treatment?
Client Consultation: I always conduct a thorough consultation before any treatment to understand the client’s skin type, medical history, and any known allergies or sensitivities.
Patch Testing: For new clients or when using new products, I perform a patch test on a small area of the skin to ensure there’s no adverse reaction.
Using Hypoallergenic Products: I use high-quality, hypoallergenic skincare products that are less likely to cause irritation or allergic reactions.
Customizing Treatments: I tailor each facial to the client’s specific skin needs, ensuring that the products used are suitable for their skin type and free from known allergens.
Ongoing Communication: During and after the treatment, I check in with clients to monitor their comfort and ensure there’s no sign of irritation or discomfort.
Advice on some of the best ways to take care of skin at home?
SPF:
This is the core of any skincare routine. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every day to protect your skin from harmful UV rays and prevent premature aging.

Healthy Diet:
