MOND3: Turning Vulnerability, Love, and Life Lessons Into Music That Connects

Bonny M | June 27, 2026

For MOND3, music is not simply about creating songs. It is about creating experiences, capturing emotions, and giving voice to feelings that often go unspoken. Her journey has taken her across continents, from her childhood in Cameroon to Germany, where she pursued higher education, and eventually to Switzerland, where she now balances a career in information technology with an emerging passion for music. While her professional life is rooted in the structured world of IT consulting, her creative world exists within melodies, stories, and emotional expression.

Born and raised in Cameroon, MOND3 spent her formative years surrounded by the experiences, cultures, and personal influences that would later shape her artistic perspective. Although she comes from a French-speaking background, she chose to write and perform in English, a decision that often surprises listeners. For her, however, the choice feels natural. Having attended an anglophone school system during her high school years, English became the language through which she felt most comfortable expressing her thoughts, emotions, and personal experiences.

Music had always been present in her life, but for many years it remained a personal passion rather than a professional pursuit. She describes her relationship with music as something that had always felt special, woven into his daily habits and routines. The true turning point came when she discovered the power of songwriting and realised that melodies could become a vehicle for the stories she had been carrying within herself.

What started as curiosity quickly became something much deeper. As someone who had always enjoyed writing, MOND3 found herself fascinated by the way music allowed words to take on an entirely new dimension. She recalls feeling as though he had finally discovered a missing piece of herself, something she had unknowingly been searching for. Beyond writing, she had spent time reflecting on her purpose and asking herself what she was truly passionate about. Music became the answer.

Initially, her goal was simple. She wanted to build a home studio where she could explore music as a hobby and experiment creatively in her spare time. But as she spent more time recording and creating, something shifted. The quality of the music improved, her confidence grew, and the recording booth began to feel like a space where she could fully be herself. What had started as an experiment gradually transformed into a serious pursuit, one that she felt compelled to develop further.

Today, MOND3’s music primarily exists within the worlds of R&B and Trapsoul. These genres provide her with the emotional depth and atmosphere she needs to communicate her thoughts authentically. Drawn to slower, more soulful sounds, she finds that these musical styles allow her to explore emotions on both a personal and spiritual level. While she remains open to experimenting with other genres in the future, she feels most connected to music that creates space for vulnerability, reflection, and genuine feeling.

That emotional approach is beautifully reflected in his single Full Moon. The song explores the connection between two people whose bond grows through shared moments, conversations, and experiences. Rather than focusing solely on romance, Full Moon examines the deeper emotional intimacy that develops when people genuinely understand one another. The imagery of moonlit skies, stars, and quiet moments together serves as a backdrop for a story about connection, affection, and the memories that stay with us long after specific moments have passed.

For MOND3, the inspiration behind the song comes from a universal experience. Almost everyone has encountered someone whose presence leaves a lasting impression, someone connected to a collection of memories that continue to resurface throughout life. Whether those memories are joyful, bittersweet, or somewhere in between, they become part of our personal stories. Through Full Moon, he hopes listeners are reminded of those connections and the emotions they carry.

One of the most distinctive aspects of MOND3’s creative process is that her songwriting often begins with melody rather than lyrics. A beat sparks an emotion, and that emotion becomes the foundation of the story. She allows the music itself to guide her toward a theme or situation, listening carefully to what the instrumental seems to communicate before developing the lyrics around it. This intuitive approach allows her songs to feel natural and emotionally honest.

As her artistry continues to evolve, MOND3 places significant value on growth and collaboration. She actively seeks opportunities to learn from other artists, study different genres, and improve her storytelling abilities. She believes that becoming a stronger artist requires both humility and curiosity, qualities that have encouraged her to continuously expand her creative horizons. Every new song becomes an opportunity to learn something new about both music and herself.

Outside of music, MOND3 is driven by a deep appreciation for creativity and exploration. She enjoys travelling, discovering new cultures, experiencing different cuisines, and immersing herself in unfamiliar environments. There is something special, she says, about wandering through a city where nobody knows you, creating memories with friends, and experiencing life from a completely new perspective. These experiences often inspire the way she views both people and the world around her.

Writing remains another important creative outlet in her life. Long before music entered the picture, writing provided a way to process emotions, heal from difficult experiences, and better understand herself. She sees words as powerful tools capable of expressing feelings that are often difficult to articulate through conversation alone. That same appreciation for storytelling now flows naturally into her songwriting.

In addition to writing, MOND3 has recently begun reconnecting with another creative passion: painting. Although drawing came more naturally to her during her younger years, she has started exploring visual art once again. She is particularly interested in painting the emotions and imagery inspired by music, creating visual interpretations of songs and the feelings they evoke. It is another way for her to explore creativity beyond traditional boundaries.

The themes that repeatedly emerge throughout MOND3’s music revolve around love, vulnerability, healing, and personal growth. However, love in her work extends beyond romantic relationships. It includes self-love, spiritual connection, faith, and the relationships we build with others throughout our lives. Alongside these themes, she also explores pain, emotional scars, difficult experiences, and the process of healing. For her, acknowledging vulnerability is essential because it is often through life’s challenges that people discover their greatest strength.

Looking ahead, MOND3 plans to continue exploring darker R&B influences similar to those heard in Full Moon and The City. She hopes to refine her songwriting further, deepen her understanding of music production, and continue sharing stories that reveal different aspects of who she is as both an artist and a person. More than simply releasing songs, she wants each project to contribute to a larger narrative of growth and self-discovery.

Ultimately, if someone hears Full Moon as their first introduction to MOND3, she hopes they remember how the music made them feel. Long after lyrics are forgotten and melodies fade, emotions often remain. Through her music, she hopes listeners feel seen, understood, and connected to something genuine.

For MOND3, success is not measured solely by streams or recognition. It is measured by emotional impact. If a song can make someone feel understood, inspire confidence, encourage healing, or remind them of a meaningful moment in their own life, then the music has already fulfilled its purpose.
