Born from a single conversation and a shared desire to redefine modern pageantry, Miss TNAQI is not just a competition, it is a transformative platform designed to empower African women living in Ireland and beyond.
The idea for Miss TNAQI emerged one evening when three family members reflected on the current landscape of pageantry. As they discussed the experiences of young women today, a powerful question surfaced: What if a pageant could offer more than beauty and a crown? What if it could become a life-shaping journey rooted in growth, identity, and leadership?
From that moment, a new vision took shape, one that extended beyond borders and embraced Africa as a whole. Miss TNAQI was created to celebrate the beauty, intelligence, cultural heritage, and leadership of African women in Ireland, while providing access to mentorship, education, and personal development often missing from traditional pageant spaces.

At its core, Miss TNAQI exists to inspire confidence, amplify voices, and create meaningful opportunities for African women. It is a space where beauty is acknowledged, but never prioritised above growth, character, or potential.
The platform was intentionally designed to address a gap in modern pageantry, the lack of long-term impact. Miss TNAQI reimagines the pageant journey as an experience that prepares young women for real life, equipping them with knowledge, confidence, and essential skills that extend far beyond the stage.
This vision is anchored in three core pillars: Education, Integration, and Recognition. These values are embedded into every phase of the Miss TNAQI experience, ensuring that each participant grows personally, connects culturally, and feels seen and celebrated.
“Through community initiatives, awareness campaigns, creative storytelling, and cultural events, the platform actively celebrates both African and Irish heritage”
The name Miss TNAQI carries deep meaning. The letters “I” and “A” represent Ireland and Africa, the two worlds that shape the identity of the women within the platform.
While Miss TNAQI is dedicated to uplifting women of African descent, it also recognises that their stories are lived, expressed, and shaped in Ireland. Through community initiatives, awareness campaigns, creative storytelling, and cultural events, the platform actively celebrates both African and Irish heritage.
By honouring these cultures individually and together, Miss TNAQI builds bridges between communities, fosters understanding, and promotes unity, reinforcing the belief that diversity is not a barrier, but a strength.
“Miss TNAQI ensures that every woman feels supported, heard, and empowered”
What truly sets Miss TNAQI apart is its commitment to personal development. Participants are guided through a carefully structured journey that includes educational workshops, mentorship, confidence-building exercises, and opportunities to uncover hidden talents.
From strengthening self-awareness and emotional resilience to providing safe spaces for shared experiences, Miss TNAQI ensures that every woman feels supported, heard, and empowered. Wins, both big and small are celebrated, reinforcing pride, gratitude, and growth.
Rather than placing rigid expectations on who can participate, the platform remains open-minded and inclusive. The only requirement is a willingness to learn, grow, and embrace vulnerability. As the Miss TNAQI team proudly states: “Be yourself. Be vulnerable. Come with an open mindset.”

In just two years, Miss TNAQI has experienced remarkable growth. Built, funded, and driven by passion, every milestone represents dedication to empowering African women in Ireland.
One of the most powerful moments in the platform’s journey came from the farewell message of the 2024 exiting Queen. She reflected on how Miss TNAQI helped her grow emotionally, build confidence, and find the courage to reach for her dreams. Stories like hers serve as a reminder that the true impact of the platform lies not in the crown, but in the transformation.
While Ireland is the birthplace of Miss TNAQI, its vision is undeniably global. The team is ready to stand alongside mainstream pageants while staying rooted in purpose and authenticity.
With the right partnerships and continued community support, Miss TNAQI aims to expand internationally, empowering African women across continents and celebrating their beauty, intelligence, leadership, and heritage on a global scale.
“This is a platform where vulnerability is respected, growth is nurtured, and identity is celebrated”
Miss TNAQI stands as a reminder that it is okay to be yourself. That authenticity is powerful. That beauty is only one layer of who you are.
This is a platform where vulnerability is respected, growth is nurtured, and identity is celebrated. A space where African women in Ireland, and soon the world, are encouraged to shine in their fullness.
Miss TNAQI is not just a pageant. It is a journey of confidence, culture, and becoming.

What are your favorite aspects of seeing women from diverse backgrounds come together?
It sends the perfect message: we can all be successful while being different in so many ways. What inspires us most is watching these women come together, embrace their individuality, and achieve great things as a collective. Their unity and accomplishments become a beacon for others, showing that success is not limited to one path, one culture, or one personality.
This creates a powerful ripple effect. When one woman succeeds, others follow. When a group rises together, it sets the tone for cyclical success. A legacy that can be passed from generation to generation. This is truly a beautiful thing.
