From the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, emerges a voice that carries both grace and grit, Sheena, a soulful artist whose story is one of divine alignment, faith, and undeniable talent. From singing in church pews at just five years old to standing confidently in studios today, Sheena’s journey reflects a woman deeply rooted in purpose and led by something greater than herself.
Music has always been more than just a passion for Sheena, it’s a calling. Growing up in a spiritually grounded family, her earliest memories are filled with choir rehearsals, school performances, and the soulful rhythms of church. While her family encouraged her musical gift, they also emphasized the importance of education, which led Sheena to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business and build a successful career as a Project Administrator at an engineering and architectural firm. Still, her heart never stopped singing. “There’s more to my story,” she says, describing music as a divine force that continues to pull her closer to her destiny.
That destiny is beautifully captured in her debut project, That Energy Part 1, an honest reflection of her journey through sound. Sheena describes her musical style as soulful, shaped by her real-life experiences and emotions. The project flows through a range of moods, from confident and romantic to reflective and empowering, offering something for everyone. “It’s an all-over feel-good body of work that can take you through all the musical styles,” she says. “It gives it range that anybody can relate to.”
Inspired by her own spiritual awakening, Sheena wanted the album to capture the frequency of transformation. “I became most comfortable with just being me, truthfully, authentically,” she reflects. “As I began to listen to beats and write songs, I noticed that only one word could describe what I was putting together, and that was energy.”
For Sheena, this project is more than just music, it’s an experience. Every lyric, every note, carries an intention to connect, heal, and uplift. Her favorite song on the album, “For Me,” stands as a personal testimony. It tells the story of her breakthrough, her faith, and her belief in new beginnings. “It’s a testimony of faith and what consistent, intentional work and dedication can get you,” she shares.
But like every artist, Sheena’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. In an industry where comparison often clouds creativity, she’s learned to trust her own rhythm. “Comparison is the thief of joy,” she admits. “I’ve overcome doubt by dismantling the norm and locking into my personal flow and journey. The more I turn inward, the more I move closer to my goals.”
Beyond music, Sheena’s life is a reflection of balance and purpose. She thrives in her professional role, embraces fitness as self-therapy, and continues to explore her creative side through writing. She’s also a published author with journals available on Amazon, including “Love You! A Self-Motivation Journal.” For Sheena, journaling is more than reflection, it’s manifestation. “Writing the vision down is the first step to manifestation,” she says with conviction.
Her drive is unstoppable, and her goals are clear. She sees herself not only as a singer but as a visionary, ready to build a lasting legacy. “I see this as not only my passion but also a business,” she says. “I am a business.” She envisions meaningful collaborations, powerful performances, and art that transcends sound, art that shakes the world.
Through it all, Sheena remains deeply connected to her community and supporters. She believes in the importance of engaging personally, valuing every message and comment from her fans. “It’s very personal for me,” she says. “I plan to give back in big and meaningful ways.”
At the heart of Sheena’s message lies a simple yet profound truth: we are all creators. Her music is an invitation for others to tap into their own truth and purpose. “Once you tap into what you’re called to create in this life, you’ll find a sense of purpose, that’s where abundance and freedom lie.”

With every song, she continues to step into her higher self, trusting that she’s being guided toward exactly where she’s meant to be. “I’m a girl from Memphis, Tennessee, who is living her dreams,” she says. “I don’t have all the answers yet, but I know I’ll end up exactly where I’m meant to be, and that’s enough for me to keep going.”
