Established in 2022, Khare Hair Accessories specializes in creating thoughtfully designed hair accessories that are a celebration of modern femininity and elegance. The name, “Khare”, meaning crown, perfectly embodies our mission, to offer a crowning and adorning experience to anyone wearing our designs. Our pieces are classy, sophisticated and luxurious.
When I created Khare Hair Accessories, I wanted to create hair accessories that do more than just accessorize – I wanted to create hair accessories that transform outfits. I have thoughtfully designed each piece to be both a statement accessory and a versatile styling companion, helping you elevate your everyday looks to sophisticated.
I have always had a passion for luxury and craftsmanship, and I wanted to create timeless pieces that appeal to women from all walks of life. The headbands are made from carefully selected fabrics and embellishments.
Whether you are wearing one of the timeless classic pieces in sophisticated neutral tones, or making a statement with our special occasion pieces adorned with luxury gems, each headband tells its own story of elegance.
My goal with the range was to create a collection that celebrates every moment of your life, from everyday elegance to show-stopping glamour, I have thoughtfully crafted the headbands with premium fabrics and the designs to make you feel like a queen, whether you’re conquering a workday or celebrating life’s special moments.

The Akina Headband
In luxurious dark brown that represents strength and natural beauty. It’s my ode to the blooming confidence every woman carries within. I love that it can easily be paired with a power suit or a casual weekend luxe ensemble, the Akina elevates every look with effortless grace.
The Amani headband
Has a very earthy feeling to it. I loved finding this shade of brown, its very attractive but also calm. This headband can easliy be a staple accessory because of its very reserved appeal.
The Imani Headband
Is a captivating shade of brown, this shade came naturally as it flows perfectly from the other two brown shades in the “brown collection”. This unique hue creates an aura of understated luxury that transforms everyday ensembles into stylish moments.
The Khari Headband
The namesake of the brand, meaning “crown,” this signature piece embodies everything we stand for – empowerment, elegance, and timeless beauty. It’s truly a crown for the modern queen. It is perfect for special occasions as it is the finishing touch that adds glamour.
The Amaza Headband
When I found this black and white monochrome design, I knew it had to be part of the collection, it’s both absorbing and modern. I love how it can elevate everything from power suits to weekend denim.
The Nalla Headband
This headband embodies timeless elegance with its rich black fabric. It’s designed to be your forever piece because of its simplicity.

Tell us about the different fabric/colour designs and the headbands names what inspires those?
When making the range, premium silk touch fabrics that hold their shape were used. For the embellished headbands, I made sure to source gems that are beautiful, stylish and durable. The central theme was to give each piece a timeless and sophisticated look.
The names are in Swahili and have been inspired by the essence I wanted to project with each piece. With the Nalla headband, Nalla means “eternal grace,” and I felt this name embodies the timeless elegance and rich black fabric of the piece. For the Akina headband, I drew inspiration from the word “spring flower,” and the dark brown colour of the piece I feel, represents natural beauty. The Amani, meaning “aspirations,” is designed to embody the gentle strength we all aspire to.
With the Amaza piece, its literal translation is “amazing”, this headband lives up to its name with the captivating pattern detail. Imani translates to “belief”, the Imani headband is created for the confident woman who believes in her power. The Khari, meaning crown, represents the goal of all women feeling adorned when wearing our pieces.
Will you be adding more products to your range? If yes, what other products can we look forward too?
Absolutely! We currently have six products in our range for now, and I will be launching a Christmas collection soon. It will include luxurious deep emerald greens, rich festive reds, glamorous gemstone-inspired pieces, and classic tartan designs that capture the essence of the festive holiday.
This collection is my love letter to the festive season – each piece tells a story of celebration and joy.
