Nelisa Ngwenya is a 26 year old who grew up in a village called Zazulwana in Butterworth, Eastern Cape. I’m a person who loves class and elegance, so I wanted my business to have something to do with “royalty” that is how Hair Royalties came about, which is a very unique name, we specialize in selling Brazilian Hair, Peruvian hair and we also do hair revamps, we currently have an office which we are in the process of converting to a salon.
Which is your most bought style from your range and why do you think it’s a favourite?
Curly hair has been the most selling unit because it has been a trending hair style.

Is the hair heat resistant, and can one use hair dye on it and which is the best way you would recommend your hair be taken care ?
Yes,our hair is heat resistant and it dyes well even though it is recommended to use heat protector when using heat, and must wash dye off with cold water.
What sets Hair Royalties apart from other competitors?
Hair Royalties does not just sell hair. We guide customers through the processes, and make them understand what they are about to purchase.
Share with us some of the challenges you come across in the day to day of the business and how you deal with them?
The huge challenge is finding a supplier with affordable prices. As hair differs with grades and texture it becomes more expensive, therefore we use different suppliers so everyone can be part of the Hair Royalties community.
Will you be adding more products to your hair range? If yes, what can we look forward to?
Definitely! Hair Royalties plans to also rent hair out. Being around people made me notice that some people cannot afford to purchase a unit but, they wish to wear one for a specific event, and some even feel like they just need a specific style just for a day. Now with hair hiring they will be able to look good without spending much and without having to purchase something they only needed for a particular occasion. We also plan to have our own branded installation kit and lashes.
