Buuttter is a natural hair care brand dedicated to nourishing and strengthening hair, especially coily and kinky hair types. We specialise in high-quality, ayurvedic, plant-based formulas that prioritise moisture retention, scalp health, and length retention. Our products are designed to work with the natural structure of hair, helping you achieve stronger, healthier strands with every use.
Buuttter was born out of a personal need. I struggled with hair shedding, dryness, dandruff and breakage and found that many products on the market weren’t deeply nourishing or protective of my strands, said founder.
I wanted to create something that truly works for all hair types, bone straight to tightly coiled—products that deeply nourish, protect, and enhance natural hair without compromising on quality or clean ingredients. Then whilst using my blend, I discovered that inadequate scalp health can affect the overall health of your hair. That’s when I saw true growth of my hair.
Currently, we have two core products in our range, each formulated to address the key needs of natural hair: moisture, scalp care, and length retention.
Nourishing Hair Butter – A rich, all-natural butter that hydrates, seals in moisture, adds softness and defines your hair. Best used as the final step in your routine, after applying a leave-in conditioner or moisturizer. Or directly to your scalp.
Seal and Grow Hair Oil – Made with purely organic oils and ayurvedic herbs that help seal moisture, stimulate hair growth and promote a healthy scalp while combating breakage and thinning. It best to massage it onto your scalp and hair strands for a few minutes to ensure proper distribution of product and proper absorption.

How often should we be washing our hair?
There’s no one size fits all answer, it depends on your hair type, scalp condition, and lifestyle. Some people thrive with weekly washes, while others may need to cleanse more or less frequently. The key is to find a routine that keeps your scalp clean and your hair moisturised without stripping away natural oils. If your scalp feels itchy or product buildup is noticeable, it’s probably time for a wash. Co-washing or using gentle shampoos can also help maintain freshness between wash days.
