Privus Beauty is an Angolan beauty brand inspired in the unique beauty of individuals, what inspired us to create the brand was the need to bring practical, functional, great quality and affordable products that actually work in the Angolan market. We specialize in high quality lashes and lip gloss.
What are some of your favorite products from your range and why?
Our lashes! They are absolutely gorgeous, so unique and lightweight, they are truly a work of art. Our lash glue is amazing, such great quality and long lasting. Our glosses speak for themselves, so hydrating and they smell amazing!
What sets Privus Beauty apart from other competitors?
We have a unique and high quality range of lashes and lip gloss in the local market, and have been compared to leading beauty brands often.
Share with us some of the challenges you came across in the conception of the business and how you overcame them?
We are always encountered with numerous challenges in general but one of the biggest challenges we had and still have today was shipping our products from the manufacturer to our country. This encouraged us to plan our restocking ahead. We also faced challenges introducing our brand in the market, as it was a new brand, we slowly learnt how to build trust and loyalty in our consumers (our “Musas” / “Muses”). We mainly relied on word of mouth initially because our quality is undeniable, eventually we started investing in minor marketing strategies. We look forward to future growth through more strategies.
What have some of your highlights been thus far?
Some of our highlights have been, being invited to one of the biggest National TV Channels to talk about our brand, partnering with local influencers, having our products chosen as wedding favours, having our brand inspire other local individuals to launch their own brands, and collaborating with a local celeb to launch an exclusive collection (coming soon), to name a few.
The beauty industry is one that’s always changing, how do you plan to keep your brand relevant?
We plan on partnering / collaborating more, team work makes the dream work…. And keeps the brand relevant as we can reach more audiences and it allows us to become more inclusive.
Will you be adding more products to your beauty range? If yes, what can we look forward to?
Definitely, the goal is to grow! We are going to add more variety in our existing range of products, introduction of new products and celebrity collabs. We like to keep our consumers on their toes so we cannot reveal the exact items launching soon.

We also have a partnership with a local Skin Care Clinic that resells some of our products in the city of Luanda. We will however launch our website this year that will enable worldwide shipping, so we are very excited for that! We are also currently contacting some distributors offshore in order to reduce shipping fees for our customers.
